Personal Appearance

As an employee of RLK and Company Employees must maintain their personal hygiene and wear uniforms or if applicable, clothing that represents professional awareness. Employees are expected to exercise sound professional judgment concerning their personal appearance.

• Men and women must wear their hair in a style that looks professional and well kept at all times. Hair must be clean and well groomed.
• For men and women, if your hair is long enough to be tied back then you must tie all of your hair back.
• Facial hair must be neat, clean and trimmed.
• Nothing about the employee’s appearance or personal hygiene should be “offensive” to co-workers or guests.
• Jewelry may be worn by both men and women as long as it is professional. Excessive jewelry which distracts from consistency of our uniform is not allowed.
• Allowed facial piercings include earrings and nose. Tongue piercings are allowed only if they are not visibly distracting to guests.
• Tattoos are allowed. Treat tattoos as you treat speech - you can't swear, make hateful comments or lewd jokes in the workplace, neither can your tattoos. They must not be offensive to your co-workers or our guests.
• To present a consistent and quality image to our guests, employees are required to wear uniforms. RLK and Company may provide some or all of your required uniform to you.
