A day in the life of a PRN Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist / Social Worker can look like:

  • Provide therapeutic services for patients utilizing group, individual, and family therapy sessions to older adults in an intensive outpatient environment in the absence of the regular social worker or in times of transition.
  • Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team focused on quality patient care and providing services ordered by a physician.
  • Lead treatment team meetings; develop and update the patient-centered treatment plan.
  • Provide and oversee excellent patient care, including intake assessments, fall assessments, and treatment plan development.
  • Work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for our patients.
  • Produce compliant documentation in a prescribed timeline.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in social work from an accredited graduate school of social work or a master’s degree in other counseling related fields required
  • Licensure: License in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state; may include LISW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc. required
  • Group Therapy experience required
  • Passion for working with Older Adults preferred
