Peju Winery is seeking an experienced Lead Reservations Concierge who will be responsible for handling tasting and event reservations, inquiries, cancellations and sales in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.


-Supervise and train reservations concierge staff

-Monitor performance of reservations concierge staff and provide feedback

-Be able to make independent decisions in accordance with business needs
-Answer all incoming calls promptly, in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
-Answer guest inquiries about tastings, events, fees, wine and merchandise as well as hours of operation.
-Enter reservations into the computer according to standard operating procedures.
-Communicate and work closely with the Experience Department to enter group bookings.
-Maintain availability calendar and communicate all relevant information to the Hospitality staff.
-Maintain accurate files and reports.
-Be able to perform all duties of Reservations Sales Agent and assist in the Tasting Room as required by management.
-Maintain a guest waiting list and follow up accordingly.
-Send confirmations to guests.
-Process all tasting fees and charges at time of reservation or sale.
-Sell wine and/or merchandise when applicable.




Education & Experience  -High School diploma or equivalent required.  -Experience working in a fast-paced winery, hotel or restaurant is desirable.

-Proven customer service skills in a concierge role

Physical Requirements

-Flexible and long hours sometimes required.  -Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

General Requirements  -Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.  -Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with guests and coworkers in an attentive, friendly, courteous  and service-oriented manner.  -Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by guests and coworkers.  Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving them as necessary.  -Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.  -Must maintain confidentiality of guest information.  -Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.  -Must have demonstrated ability to use multiple computer programs of varying levels of complexity.  -Attend all required meetings and trainings.  -Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the winery.  -Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.  -Comply with Peju regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.  -Perform other duties as requested by management.
