  • Follow recipes for smoothies and juices
  • Operate juicers and blenders
  • Prep produce for future use
  • Build custom and standard fresh sandwiches & bowls
  • Serve food from counter
  • Keep food preparation area stock levels full and organized
  • Receive orders of product and stock in proper area in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean work area in accordance with health department
  • Greet and interact with customers in a polite manner
  • Operate a point of sale system, taking orders from customers
  • Maintain composure during busy hours
  • Handle knives and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Pay includes daily cash tips
  • Spanish speakers encouraged!

Requirements

 

  • 2 – 3+ years in restaurant, customer service, or hospitality.
  • Must have knowledge of basic cooking techniques and equipment.
  • Must have a desire to continually learn about changing food trends and food culture.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be professional, energetic, a team player, self-motivated, and able to motivate others.
  • Must possess strong safety awareness.
  • Communicate and interact effectively and appropriately with all customers, co-workers and management.
  • Ability to trouble-shoot problems and present solutions for a  variety of situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions  furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
