Description

Thrift Store Assistant reports to Thrift Store Manager and is responsible for providing general services related to the satisfactory operation of the parish thrift store. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively promotes the vision and mission of the thrift store to customers and volunteers. 
  • Helps organize and maintain inventory to ensure store is well stocked. Helps to maintain a clean, attractive, and safe environment. 
  • Assists with thrift shop social media promotion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Related experience in retail sales highly preferred. 
  • Basic mathematical abilities, including the ability to add, subtract, divide, multiply, and tabulate figures.
