Job Title: Paid Media Manager

Reports To: Senior Director, Digital Marketing

Location: Atlanta


Job Summary

The Paid Media Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management, optimization, and scalability of existing, paid, customer-acquisition channels, as well as the discovery and implementation of new channels. The goal of the Paid Media Manager will be to grow the PlayOn! Sports streaming subscriber base via these paid channels.


PlayOn! Sports is the nation’s largest rights-holder & producer of high school sports, producing and distributing over 500,000 high school events last year. We want to bring live high school sports to as many fans across the country as possible.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an efficient, scalable, and automated paid media strategy, including search-engine marketing, paid social media marketing, programmatic display, and direct media buys
  • Manage regular A/B Testing on all channels and campaigns to further optimize existing practices
  • Provide regular, in-depth reporting on assigned channels and campaigns
  • Research and help implement new customer acquisition channels
  • Develop and execute cost-effective digital media plans that meet the goals and objectives developed by marketing leadership 
  • Monitor performance of purchased digital advertising on a daily basis; manage to target CPA and ROI 


Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Expertise in all the following: Facebook advertising, search-engine marketing, programmatic display, direct media buys
  • Ability to juggle many different campaigns and marketing channels at once
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in digital marketing
  • Ability to organize and implement diligent testing procedures
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional analytical skills


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing preferred
  • 3+ years of experience managing consumer-facing, digital marketing campaigns at scale
  • Experience in marketing automation
