Optikos is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, product development engineer with a solid optics background to join our product development group and participate in developing the next generation of lens and camera test equipment. The position is in the Products Group of Optikos where you will work on developing new products to add to our industry leading product lines of lens and camera test equipment. Your time will be divided between design activities and building and testing prototypes. Experience and a positive track record in instrumentation development, optical system design, and product realization are preferred, but candidates with experience of simply working on multidisciplinary product development teams will be considered.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Optics Engineering (preferred) or Physics
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in instrumentation development
  • Excellent hands-on laboratory skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – you will be working with clients!
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.
