Bartender (Part time/Year-Round)
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about providing excellent service, enjoy working with people and have previous experience in the hospitality and food & beverage industry. We strive to personalize the dining experience by building a rapport with our members and providing first-rate service in a friendly and efficient manner. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and taking and delivering food orders, while providing a high quality of service to all members and guests. We are open for dining Wednesday-Sunday for dining. Candidates must be available weekends, evenings, and some holidays. This position is part-time, but it could turn into a full-time opportunity for the right candidate. Come join our team!
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Pour wine and beer and mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Provide drink recommendations and handle food requests
- Wash glassware and utensils
- Serve food to members and guests at the bar
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times
- Use the POS system to process orders
- Support the Clubhouse Manager and Carriage House Supervisor, as requested
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of previous work experience in the Hospitality/ Food & Beverage industry
- Must have classic drink and cocktail knowledge
- Ability to multi-task while taking care of guests needs and maintaining composure
- A friendly customer service orientation and focus on nurturing the member experience
- Excellent social and communication skills
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work nights, weekends and some holidays
