Description

A well-established private Montessori school in the Salt Lake City area seeks highly motivated individuals to join our community. Multiple part time and full time positions available. Experience working with children is very helpful. Orientation and training will be provided. 


Pay: DOE


Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm


Duties Include:

  • Track attrition, retention, and admissions inquiries with enrollment software
  • Maintain Enrollment Database
  • Coordinate with administrators on enrollment numbers, requests and inquiries
  • Respond to admissions queries from prospective parents
  • An in depth understanding of the admissions software, financials and student information system FACTS SIS
  • Provide tours to prospective parents
  • Send, collect, track admissions applications and decisions
  • Coordinate, present and assist others involved with the Admissions Meeting/Open House
  • Support Admissions Committee: schedule parent interviews, schedule decision meetings
  • Assist the Grant and Aid Committee
  • Create & maintain Application and Enrollment forms with help from IT and administrative staff
  • Collaborate with other staff members to revise the Tuition Schedule, Fees, and Policies each year
  • Coordinate student schedule change requests with teachers and administrators

School:

Montessori Community School of Salt Lake City is a private school that has been operating since 1985. The school enrolls students from 3 months through 6th grade with an average enrollment of 220 students in the academic session and about half the enrollment in the Summer. It is located near Foothill and 1700 South. Requirements
  • Background check through Child Care Licensing.
  • Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Reasonable accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis for exemptions to this requirement in accordance with applicable law.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop strong relationships with various school constituent groups
  • A basic understanding of online marketing, social media and more traditional advertising
  • Knowledge of traditional Montessori method of learning is a plus
