Primary Responsibilities 

Guide the growth of a portfolio of 200+ recycling programs, measured by annual recycling revenue, client satisfaction, and program renewals 

  • Develop and implement action plans that maximize portfolio performance, identifying growth opportunities and rationalizing support where needed
  • Lead strategy, direction, and senior client interaction for key or strategic accounts; support team in developing strategy for the entire portfolio
  • Manage program risks together with Account Directors and Managers
  • Report on key KPI's on a regular basis to the executive team to manage portfolio performance

Act as a leader for the North American organization, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer

  • Partner with executive leadership to set financial goals and strategic targets for the TerraCycle NA organization
  • Translate strategic plans into tactical actions and clear direction for the NA AM team
  • Partner with key cross-functional leaders in the organization to optimize and refine cross-functional processes, e.g., reporting, marketing
  • Constructive partnership and collaboration with HR and other functions to ensure successful execution of the people and business strategy

Train and develop a large team

  • Manage a growing team of Directors and Sr. Directors, each with a pod of Managers and Associates underneath them
  • Own and guide the team’s career development paths, including opportunities across the organization and outside of the function
  • Build a professional development program, including onboarding and ongoing training, to more efficiently bring on and grow new talent 
  • Think through efficient organization structures, consistently evaluate NA AM organization size and design against workload and performance to ensure that the organization is sufficient to support the growing program portfolio
  • Leverage learnings from other regional Account Management teams, and from within the region, to globalize and standardize our approach to Account Management
