Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 40 hours per week

As a Credentialing Specialist I, you play a key role in assisting in getting providers in network with third-party payors, submitting licensure documents to appropriate entity and credentialing providers in other locations. Additional responsibilities include:
•Works directly with Contracting/Credentialing Manager on daily assignments.
•Tracks license and DEA renewals manage medical assistant licensure.
•Meets with providers/clinical staff to secure necessary information for credentialing with and/or to license providers in numerous state locations.
•Makes recommendations to the Credentialing Manager for process and quality improvement.
•Responsible for credentialing providers in other locations by completing provider applications, compiling necessary documentation and submitting requested information.
•Maintains provider credentialing records and online databases.
•Ensures the department meets all established federal, state, and NCQA standards.

Minimum Requirements to be considered:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel, Outlook and Adobe Pro.
- Ability to work independently and creatively problem solve.
- Highly Organized
- Previous credentialing and/or billing experience preferred.
