Position Summary: Manufacturing Team Members are responsible for the day to day production of Fluoropolymer products. Adhering to prescribed work instructions, performing inspection of completed parts through visual inspection and the use of measuring instruments for quality assurance.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment

• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops

• Produce Fluoropolymer products in a fast-paced environment, achieving established production levels

• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying work instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, 

  sub-assemblies, tools, and materials

• Be attentive to detail in an effort to produce quality product in an efficient manner

• Conduct product quality checks per production procedure requirements

• Adhere to Company, State and Federal Safety Regulations


Requirements

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

• Exceptional eye hand coordination

• Able to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks

• Ability to work quickly and methodically

• Must be able to speak English with good written and verbal communication skills

• High School diploma or GED certificate

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment a plus, but not required


Work Environment:

• Light assembly/Manufacturing environment


Physical Requirements:

• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel

• Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length,

• stoop, kneel, and crouch

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 

  10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

• The team member is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes



Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form.


Must be able to pass criminal background check.


Rate of pay is based on experience.
