The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting key aspects of fiscal management and financial analysis for Radiology Regional (RRC). The Senior Accountant is part of a team responsible for ensuring RRC’s books and records are appropriately maintained and in compliance with GAAP and other key regulatory bodies. This position also provides analysis and reporting of data from transactional systems (NetSuite, Imagine, Merge RIS, etc.) that are utilized day to day. This person is also responsible for monthly close reporting for RRC both at a department and operating unit level. Additionally, this role will also be responsible for tracking capital expenditures, variance to budget/forecast(s) and other financial analysis as needed.

Requirements
  • Production of timely financial analytics related to monthly close, financial assessment of performance, budgeting / planning, and fee schedule contracting.
  • Responsible for production of accounting close and financial performance reporting for LucidHealth and other entity related initiatives.
  • Development and maintenance of month-end close calculations and models around revenue recognition, compensations accruals, other expense accruals, completed timely.
  • Lead in the development of and ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures and overall company control environment. (i.e. Support annual audit efforts of LucidHealth)
  • Maintains financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends, providing budget variance feedback, preparing critical measurements, and driving financial accountability throughout operating units.
  • Support effective capital planning efforts; including business case development as well as working capital planning in conjunction with LucidHealth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external constituents in regard to financial reporting and analytics, ensuring proper status communication concerning timelines and expectations.  
  • Provide other financial / statistical analytics as needed or upon request.
  • Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines with a proactive approach.
  • A high degree of positive energy and ability to rapidly develop positive relationships with others is critical for this position
  • Assesses and responds to current and future internal and external healthcare trends to establish and ensure the necessary direction for financial operations 
  • Continually seeks ways and means for improving the delivery and support of financial activities and programs. 
  • Assures satisfaction among administration and providers with the quality and amount of support provided by monitoring and responding appropriately to outcomes and feedback. 
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and other federal regulations regarding patient privacy and billing rules and regulations
  • Maintains professional development and growth through professional affiliations, seminars, and workshops to keep abreast of trends in revenue and healthcare in general. 
  • Participates as appropriate in regular education programs and activities that pertain to healthcare management, as well as specific functional areas. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • CPA and/or Master’s Degrees in Accounting
  • Strong technical understanding of GAAP and healthcare revenue cycle accounting (Public accounting experience preferred)
  • NetSuite G/L experience preferred
  • A team leader, team builder, and team player 
  • A solid understanding of system and business processes, as well as healthcare financial issues
  • Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) – both financial and operational
  • Excellent communications skills – including written, oral, presentation and listening
