What You’ll Do:

The Product Manager is a vital role in the Whisker Engineering team. You will be responsible for managing a pet product line which includes mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines as well as product development, marketing and consumer research. Your impact will ensure current products are managed effectively and future product lines are launched successfully. 


What You’ll Bring:

  • BS in Engineering 
  • 3+ years of product management experience with consumer appliances and/or consumer electronics 
  • 2+ years of leading a small team; experienced with driving programs leveraging multiple cross-functional teams including, Marketing, Sales, IT, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain
  • 1+ years of experience in IoT and/or embedded software and/or other smart home solutions
  • Proven successful record with managing consumer-facing hardware and software products from ideation through launch
  • Experience writing clear and concise product and procedure requirements documents
  • Experience with defining and running product testing
  • Strong business acumen with hands-on experience in Product Management, Pricing, Marketing, and Sales in Manufacturing, E-commerce, and Digital Marketing industries
  • Customer-facing experience working directly with customers and has demonstrated capability to understand customers’ context, provide support insights, and compile detailed solutions and applications in scope for support
  • Strong data skills with expertise across multiple disciplines including Data Analytics (Excel, DOMO, SQL, VBA)
