The SEO Content Strategist is a driving force behind Archer’s client success by developing quarterly SEO & content strategies that help achieve SEO and inbound goals, including driving organic traffic, engaging prospective students, and inspiring conversions. Beyond initiating content development, the Content Strategist analyzes and audits current content to identify potential content gaps and keyword opportunities while executing on-page SEO. The Content Strategist reports to the Director of Inbound Marketing. 

This is a full-time remote role. 


  • Ownership of quarterly content strategies 
  • Goals of strategies: 
  • Increase Qualified Organic Traffic
  • Boost SERP Rankings
  • Develop Engaging Link Building Assets 
  • Assist SEO team with elements of account management to grow client management skills 
  • Client Communication & Reporting 
  • Collaborate with Director of Inbound and team on maintaining and growing owned and operated properties 
  • Ongoing blog and strategy optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, including execution of blog audits, keyword development, content audience research, link building opportunities, interlinking strategies, and other content and SEO recommendations  
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and the initiative to produce content strategies and client communications around organic search knowledge and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear strategic vision to each client.
  • Collaborate with the Content Team and other subject matter experts as necessary to provide best practice optimizations for SEO-driven content deliverables including but not limited to, comprehensive guides, shareable assets, core pages, blogs (new and refreshed), etc.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental processes and deliverables.


  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years of related experience required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Content Strategy
  • Thorough knowledge of SEO Fundamentals
  • Thorough knowledge of Ahrefs & SEM Rush
  • General knowledge of Google Analytics & Search Console 
  • Thorough knowledge of Digital Communication
