Supports the Permitting Manager with various permitting related tasks, including but not limited to: overseeing all administrative, technical, and non-technical activities related to the permitting process, tracking permit applications, creating, and delivering correspondence, and monitoring deadlines.

  • Maintaining files for projects 
  • Oversee environmental consultants retained to assist in permitting process 
  • Review permit application forms 
  • If requires submit to local authorities permit application
  • Track progress of permitting activities.
  • Work closely with designers and project managers to prepare technical documents      
  • Monitor compliance with permit conditions 
  • Produce monitoring and compliance reports for submission to relevant agencies and      authorities 
  • Support development of scope of work 
  • Review and comment on deliverables submitted by consultants in relation to environmental      and permitting matters 
  • Coordinate and support interface management between permitting and other workstreams
  • Coordinate with other functions within the Company regarding permitting and      environmental related matters.
  • Maintain permitting dashboard.
  • Develop and maintain permit matrix 
  • At  Permitting Manager’s request interface with permitting agencies.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Detailed oriented
  • Process driven with a penchant for logical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English and Bengali).
  • Excellent computer and web-based knowledge
  • 3+ years’ experience with construction permitting is preferred
  • Familiarity with World Bank and IFC requirements required.
