Vector Solutions is seeking  an Account Executive - Partnerships EDU. The Account Executive, will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle and possess good negotiation skills. They should be confident with building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. Self-motivated, proactive, dedicated, and results-oriented professional style with a strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop new business and markets in K12 adjacencies (American/International schools, camps, early childhood development, youth-serving organizations) to prospect, qualify and close sales. 
  • Upsell existing accounts in K12 and other adjacencies. 
  • Increase penetration within existing accounts to drive new revenue streams. 
  • Network successfully to drive new opportunities, sales presentations, web-ex demonstrations and handle contract negotiations. 
  • Achieve sales goals as set by management and be able to work independently 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. 


Requirements
  •  Entrepreneurial ability
  • A proven sales track record with a stable work history
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in business to business (B2B) sales.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Professional sales experience selling to both high level decision makers and influencers.
