We are a leader in the field of Low Voltage Structured Cabling. We seek to hire a seasoned Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. If you're a passionate self-starter, Low Voltage Experience (Fire Alarm, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion, and Structured Cabling)


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation: Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to prepare detailed and accurate estimates for low-voltage systems. Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes, ensuring competitive pricing and quality. Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and cost breakdowns. Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools.
  • Submittal Documentation: Assist in preparing comprehensive submittal packages for approval by clients, architects, and engineers. Ensure all submittal documents meet project specifications, including product data sheets, shop drawings, and compliance certificates. Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain the necessary documentation. Track and manage submittal approvals, revisions, and re-submissions as required. Maintain organized records of all submittal documentation for each project.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates align with project execution plans. Communicate with clients to address questions or concerns regarding estimates and submittals. Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project kick-offs as needed. Provide technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in low-voltage systems. Identify opportunities to improve estimation accuracy, efficiency, and documentation processes.
Requirements
  •  In depth knowledge of Low Voltage Systems as described above
  • 5-8 years of project management and related experience
  • Certifications are a huge plus
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Salary Description
$75,000 plus
