WorldatWork is a global not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving, educating, and inspiring those who reward and engage the workforce. Our members include business professionals who are accountable for the critically important practices of compensation, well-being, benefits, development, and recognition programs within their companies around the world.  We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Vice President of Marketing & Communication. 


The Vice President of Marketing & Communications will develop and lead the strategy and implementation of WorldatWork marketing and communications functions to align and deliver on the strategic goals of the organization. 

In this critical role, the Vice President, Marketing & Communication will have oversight of the association’s branding, marketing communications, public relations, and digital marketing. This leader will work cross-functionally to grow WorldatWork’s audience and engagement through all channels, including membership, events, products and services, and publications, while ensuring a consistent brand position throughout. 


This role is an opportunity to advance WorldatWork’s global mission, increase awareness, promote, and sell its flagship products, expand WorldatWork’s global audience, and execute strategic campaigns in support of our membership.

Requirements

  

You have:

  •   At least 10 years of marketing and communications experience within a professional or trade association.
  • 5 +years of senior leadership experience with strong track record of growing audience awareness.
  • 5+ years of experience supervising and developing a young, less experienced but energized team.
  • Masters/Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related discipline.
  • Strong written, analytical, and oral communication skills, including ability to distill complex issues into compelling      communications.
  • Prior experience working under pressure and operating as a strategic partner to Executive Director/COO/President.
  • Comfortable analyzing data to help better target where and when to place messaging.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing
