Sun Services Maintenance Technician is skilled in both residential and commercial repairs; must possess maintenance expertise and discipline to work with well with guests, vendors, and co-workers. The Maintenance Technician must ensure the highest level of overall maintenance service in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Provides estimates to Sun Service administrative staff.
- Performs all assigned work orders expediently and professionally.
- Basic carpentry skills
- Aids in overseeing expenses for projects.
- Aids in managing and controlling expenses on all work orders.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment and service vehicle.
- In conjunction with Service Manager, maintains adequate part inventory level in service vehicle.
- Professionally interacts with owners, guests, and rental office staff relative to problem resolution.
- Interfaces with all of Sun’s vendors and contractors during work order completion.
- Provides, maintains, and updates all daily records and information as required by Sun Services management.
- May be required to assist with other Sun offices/departments as needed.
Requirements:
Physical/Mental Demands: Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, standing, sitting, driving, reaching bending climbing steps/ladders, and lifting 50-85+ pounds; reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.
Machines/Equipment: A valid, active NC driver license for a minimum of 3 years (clean MVR); the operation of basic tools and equipment; smart phone or similar electronic device.
Work Environment: Exposed to outside weather conditions, fast paced, physically strenuous; working in attics or crawl spaces; climbing flights of steps inside and out; maneuvering a vehicle in congested traffic.

Hours: Hours will vary as job requires Saturday and Sunday work. Overtime may be required. Regular, punctual attendance required.
Salary Range: Pay based on experience and proven ability, determined by Maintenance Manager.
