The Opportunity

BDS is seeking an Account Manager responsible for driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth by building and managing customer accounts, long-term client relationships, and developing key business relationships. The role requires a strong focus growing BDS’s existing account base by up-selling and cross-selling to existing clients, helping to secure contract renewals, and maximizing customer retention rates and growth goals. This will be achieved through implementing a long-term customer centric approach, account planning, prospecting within existing accounts to identify new opportunities, and educating clients on BDS’s product portfolio and superior service offering. 

Your Impact at BDS

  • Aligning with customers on a regular basis and performing customer survey audits, communicating with the internal team regarding potential opportunities for BDS to sell high, wide, and deep 
  • Building credibility and trust while influencing buying decisions
  • Uncovering business initiatives and pain points to map back our solutions across multiple lines of business
  • Creating demand by uncovering business problems and matching them to our products and solution
  • Building account strategy and territory plan by account tiering
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key points of contact through phone calls and providing info in a timely manner
  • Clearly communicate, document and report on customer updates to internal stakeholders and within the CRM
  • Focus on Account Management and Business Development to maximize BDS’s revenue and profitability potential by up-selling to existing clients, driving renewal revenue and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to identify accounts slated for renewal and opportunities for upsell.
  • Understanding the client business environment to add value based on their specific requirements

 What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • 4+ years of experience working within a high-growth Business      Hardware, Technology or Service Based Business Preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication via phone and email 
  • Superior note taking skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong background working with or in customer service and support 
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-oriented achiever who balances a "take charge" attitude with teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
