General Summary: 

This seasonal position will support the Program Engagement Associate with administrative duties of the experiential learning department for events in the 2022-23 school year. In addition, this position will assist the Program Engagement Associate with planning events for the 2023-24 school year. This position will be located at Chaparral High School, inside FFLV’s Offices.

Core Responsibilities:

Data Entry/Document Processing

· Organize and enter data on FFLV student field trip packets.

· Prepare student field trip documents for school administration. 

· Organize, enter, analyze and report on pre/post evaluation participant data.

· Assist with importing data into student records and filing documents.


· Assist with event promotion by creating marketing materials and announcements.

· Support the planning logistics by directing a theme and décor.

· Facilitate by ordering and setting up catering.

· Assist with keeping track of the budget.

· Request price quotes for event logistics including: transportation, rental equipment, supplies, vendors, etc. 

Event Execution

· Picking up or dropping off necessary items. 

· Maintaining communication with onsite vendors and assisting with their needs.

· Day of event set up and take down, including going to and from our storage facility. 

· Assisting with staff roles to ensure all needs are met. 


 Qualities and Qualifications: 

FFLV is seeking an enthusiastic undergraduate student interested in event planning, education, and college access. The candidate must have excellent research and organization skills and a high level of attention to detail and creativity. Must have a valid Nevada driver's license. May need to be available to work on the weekends, based on organizational needs. 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Nevada State Drivers’ License, proof of current automobile insurance and automobile registration. Must be able to obtain CCSD Badge by undergoing fingerprinting process through CCSD.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employed Intern is occasionally exposed to excessive heat, wet and/or humid outside conditions. The noise level in the environment is moderate and at times, high.
