We’re looking for a Public Relations Manager to join our Marketing Team! This position is responsible for managing sponsorship partners and growing our portfolio through consultative efforts and growth strategies, leading projects supporting client needs and cultivating strong partnerships. 

The Job:

• Participates in the strategy for the company and brand PR Initiatives
• Recommends and manages sponsorships and corporate events to improve the image our organization and build brand awareness
• Oversees the pre-execution, onsite logistics, and post execution of events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Manages and ensures all relevant promotional materials are in place for all events.
• Assists with the coordination, design, and implementation of events.
• Conduct event research, including but not limited to venues, vendors, décor items, entertainers, and collateral.
• Assist with travel arrangements, calendar management, and other projects as assigned by management.
• Coordinates advertising and sponsorship for organization initiatives.
• Evaluates opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
• Manages company social media channels to engage audiences across traditional and new media.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring outcomes of programs implemented and overseen.
• Leverages existing media relationships and cultivates new contacts within business and industry media.
• Creates content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations.
• Maintains a consultative, relationship-based approach that creates long-term partnerships for sustainable revenue generation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.  

About You:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• BA/BS degree in Marketing, PR or Communications, or equivalent work experience 
• 3+ years’ experience in PR management

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Works well under pressure with an eye for detail
• Impeccable time management skills
• Excited about lead generation, trade shows and all things sponsored events
• Experience with vendor management
• Ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff, vendors, and clients
• Ability to take initiative and work independently while functioning within a small team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift up to 20 lb.
