National Sales Representative


Responsibilities

As the face of Walpole Outdoors, the National Sales Representative continues the mission of Walpole outdoors. Able to make and deal only with selling the best quality merchandise, a product that enhances Residential and Commercial clients. This representative demonstrates professionalism and knowledge of products in order to understand and assist customer needs. This role demonstrates the ability to maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities within Salesforce (CRM), and maintain and update files necessary to effectively manage accounts, collaborate with team members to establish strategic sales approach and expanded opportunities. In addition, you will report on sales strategies and plans with your supervisor periodically.


Job Duties

· Understanding customer needs by explaining and educating them to find the right products and services

· Using available resources as best as possible in order to become Walpole brand experts and sell complete solutions

· Find and take advantage of self-directed learning programs and corporate training and technical workshops

· Be known as a helpful resource of company-wide information

· Responsible for quoting standard jobs and following through to end of sale

· Enter all information into company’s CRM

· Other duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications

  

· Previous sales experience

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

· Self-starter and self-motivator with  good follow through and able to multi-task

· Professional demeanor

· Keen attention to detail

· Able to work with others

· Experience using Salesforce, Microsoft Word & Excel

· Experience working with consumers and building trade professionals
