You have public relations and outreach experience, with an ability to create publicity content that expresses our culture, experience, and services. You have brand building experience, and are able to create, curate, manage, and analyze engaging content to be published on various digital and social media channels. You have 5+ years of experience.

CORE FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brand Management and Activation. 
  • Develop local and global marketing strategies to contribute to our growth, while  working in tandem with our overall business goals.  
  •  Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract critical insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
  •  Lead brand management and execution across the entire brand experience journey - online, offline, in physical, and virtual environments - driving a consistent narrative across the organization and externally. 
  • Ensure the brand is flawlessly manifested across all touchpoints – own digital and social media, editorial touchpoints, partnerships, and paid media. 
  •  Collaborate with and support senior leaders on key company priorities including industry events, key meetings, etc. 
  •  Lead our PR and communications to drive brand storytelling forward. 
  •  Work closely with journalists and media partners to promote AOA on a global stage. 
  •  Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
  • Oversee a distinctive social strategy (includes all social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  •  Oversee channel management (posting, copywriting, etc.), community management and analytics.
  • Ensure brand consistency, including effective editorial content, cadence, voice, tone, and engagement. 
  •  Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
  • Stay  abreast of current events, conventions, and strategic partnership  opportunities.  
  •  Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.

Content Strategy and Asset Management. 

  •  Work alongside the AOA business development / marketing team to develop and execute our content strategy across multiple communication channels. 
  • Responsible for all content creation.
  • Produce / generate, edit, schedule, publish, and share engaging content (brand, blog, newsletter, social, PR, whitepapers, etc.) across multiple communication channels.  
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touchpoints, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide additional sales support.
  • Create effective editorial content, cadence, voice, tone, and engagement. 
  • Develop and implement distribution plans including the management of an overall editorial calendar, setting specific objectives, and posting calendar.
  •  Maximize existing storytelling platforms (owned channels) and identify creative ways to leverage external platforms (PR, partners, industry events, etc.) to communicate our story broadly.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of existing/emerging trends to inform future content roadmap.
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
  •  5 – 7 years of experience in marketing.
  • Familiarity  with B2B marketing practices required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Proven experience developing marketing plans.
  • A strong understanding of the various social media platforms (Facebook,  Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) with a passion for generating  and sharing content.  
  • Hands  on experience in content management, editorial calendar management  (Hootsuite, SocialBu, Later, etc.) and social media cadences.  
  • Experience  in and understanding of managing social media tools and technologies,  including monitoring and digital marketing metrics via Google Analytics  and similar tools. 
  • Proficiency  with software including Adobe Photoshop and MS Office. Working knowledge  of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere is a plus. 
  • Works well under pressure and is able to multi-task on concurrent projects  within a fast-paced team and entrepreneurial environment.  
  •  Strong project management and decision-making skills.
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with a good eye for visual design and strong graphic skills; an emphasis on quality photography, graphics, and digital layout capabilities. 
  •  Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • Proficiency in online marketing and social media strategy.
  • Proven experience designing interactive applications and networking platforms.
  •  Willingness and ability to travel.
  •  Established press and media contacts.
