Pinnacle Services is seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join our team as Ryan White Specialists. Ryan White Specialists work within our Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, which is a federally funded program that provides person-centered homemaking services to individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. The Ryan White Specialist/Homemaker role is perfect for someone looking to explore and grow their career in social services and health care. Full-time and part-time positions available throughout the metro area.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The job duties of a Ryan White Specialist depend on the needs of the individual receiving services and can range from supporting them with:
· Light Housekeeping (assistance with sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, removal of garbage, changing bedding, organization, seasonal cleaning and decorating)
· Laundry (washing, drying, folding, ironing)
· Shopping (assist with or complete routine shopping, preparing lists, cutting coupons, picking up medications from pharmacy, etc.)
· Scheduling appointments (arranging activities with family/friends, transportation, reminders of appointments, etc.)
· Meal Preparation (assistance with preparing meals and clean up)
Schedule
The candidate will work in collaboration with the Program Manager/Director to create a flexible schedule that may include morning, daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

$18/hour

Requirements
Required Qualifications
· Must be over the age of 18 years.
· Must successfully clear a DHS background check
· Must have a current driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record determined by Pinnacle Services policy in order to use personal vehicle to transport clients, as needed
· Must be patient, compassionate, flexible, dependable, and have a passion for helping others
· Must be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and able to form trusting relationships with individuals served.
· Must be able and willing to work with individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS
Preferred Qualifications
· Have experience working in a personalized one-on-one setting with individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS
· CPR/AED certified (will train if missing this qualification)

Paid training will be provided to those offered a position.

- Homemakers must be able to remain accountable while working independently.
Preferred candidates: Will have experience working in a personalized one-on-one setting and working with persons served diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.
