Location: Philadelphia, PA? (hybrid and onsite 2-3 days per week)

Job Status: Full-time, non-exempt 

Reports To: Manager, School-based Program

Salary: $40K - $44K/yr

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence (BBBSI) seeks a Team, Leader, School-Based Mentoring. This role will directly supervise a team of 3-5 School-based Program Coordinators and will manage a smaller caseload of programs directly. The ideal candidate will successfully balance supervision of their team with the effective performance of individual match support responsibilities, practices, and goals. This position will manage program partnerships with local elementary, middle, and high schools. The role will also strengthen relationships with existing corporate partners in collaboration with the Advancement team, SB Manager, and Director. Within this role, the School-based Team Leader will work with the Manager, School-Based Program, to develop structure to enhance mentoring programming for BSW sites. This position requires weekday travel to BBBSI office locations and schools in Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.? 

Requirements

Academic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; degree in social services or related field, preferred. 


Professional Requirements: 2+ years functional experience in a human services environment, required. Supervisory experience, preferred. Experience working with both child and adult populations required; specific assessment and relationship development experience, and an understanding of child development and family, preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages required.? 


Additional Requirements: Daily access to a car, valid driver's license, with state-required automobile insurance minimums is required for the purpose of traveling to schools.
