Our Building & Grounds Department located in Slingerlands, NY has a full-time, 40-hour Buildings & Grounds Technician III position available. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm*, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The range of pay for this position is $23.34-$29.46 per hour depending on experience. This is an hourly position with a floating on-call requirement and overtime per agency needs. The Building & Grounds Technician III provides advanced maintenance in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- To secure and maintain all certifications and trainings required by WWAARC.
- At least 2 years of experience in buildings or grounds maintenance, preferred.
- Must have a strong background in at least one of the following areas: plumbing, basic carpentry, painting, basic electrical, building and equipment repair, or grounds maintenance.
- Physical requirements: Job is a manual labor position. Requires the ability to perform essential job functions that include prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting; and working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
- Employee must be able to regularly lift 50-75 pounds with or without accommodation.
