We are a rapidly growing technology company, enabling electric utilities around the world to lead the energy transition with enhanced transmission grid flexibility, increased resiliency, and more grid capacity for renewable energy. We provide utilities with our patented, non-contact sensors for the real-time monitoring and predictive analytics they need to accelerate the path to a net zero grid. 

We are looking for a Vice President of People Operations to play a key role in our organization, serving as an assertive, data-driven, strategic leader for the organization while maintaining the trust and confidence of management and employees and aligning executives and their teams to accomplish the company’s goals.

The Vice President of People Operations reports to the CEO and will be responsible for structuring and leading a state-of-the-art HR function and developing and implementing best practices in compensation, organizational design, training and development, recruitment, and talent management. The Head of People will develop appropriate metrics, review processes, and policies to ensure the HR function enables and supports business objectives. This position will also support a broad array of operations functions including office management, HR and finance platform management and acts as a liaison to Line’s Visions legal and accounting functions.

What will you do?

Talent Management

  • Develop programs and processes to drive professional development, career progression, and succession planning
  • Develop programs and processes for management development and equip managers with resources and tools needed for success
  • Develop mechanisms, reports, and balanced scorecards to generate meaningful talent trends and incorporate results to improve program design
  • Establish a targeted and innovative recruiting and onboarding program to recruit top talent and bolster talent quality across all functions.
  • Develop a strong employment brand to attract top talent including external communication best practices for the organization

Compensation and Benefits

  • Review and optimize the compensation structure, benefits strategy, and rewards programs to ensure the attraction and retention of key talent
  • Manage and continue to improve HRIS system and payroll and benefits processes

Culture and Organizational Design

  • Continue to build an engaged culture that embodies the company’s values and business objectives across all locations globally
  • Implement talent strategies that support strategic business initiatives and objectives through leadership development and organizational design
  • Partner with management to identify learning gaps and development needs across business
  • Create development tools and succession plans for the organization

People Operations:

  • HRIS selection and management
  • Payroll and Expense systems selection & management
  • Office management  

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • A demonstrated history of successfully establishing a best-in-class recruiting and talent management function
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a credible advisor and strong communicator to the CEO and executive team with the ability to act as a sounding board for top-down issues
  • Successful history developing best in class systems and processes for all HR functions.
  • A metrics driven approach and a demonstrated history of using data and key performance indicators to inform decision making
  • Demonstrated team management experience providing leadership development and best practices to the HR function
  • Experience building a culture of high employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Logical thinker with a problem-solving mentality
  • Dynamic personality capable of providing strategic thought leadership with a willingness to dive into the granular details
  • A trusted confidant to all employees who is available to  requests for advice, field grievances and proactively address concerns
