Accounting Support Specialist
The Music People is looking for an Accounting Support Specialist to assist our Accounting team. This is a support position on the team that is responsible for performing a high level of transactional type work in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve.
The Accounting Support Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Accounts Receivable:
o Post ACH Journal Entries given to them by the Senior Credit Manager
o Process Credit and Rebills
o Provide detail for Credit Reference Requests by third party companies
o Assist in processing New Dealer Applications
o Work on resolving claims with Wal-Mart
o Check Deposits
· Accounts Payable:
o Print and sort Vendor Invoices
o Assist in posting Stock Invoices
o Assist in posting Dropship Invoices
o Invoice Problem Resolution
o Filing invoices
· The majority of work responsibilities will be done in the following programs/applications:
o Microsoft Navision
o Microsoft Outlook
o Microsoft Skype
· Demonstrate collaboration with employees and management on responsibilities, projects, issues and opportunities utilizing company's tools with a transparent approach
· Comprehensively maintain documented systems, processes, training videos and proficient backup and present to employees and management.
· Other responsibilities as assigned
· The Accounting Support Specialist should thrive working in a high volume, transactional setting, and additionally:

· Experience Level
o Experience working in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
o Has worked in high volume, transactional job
o Previous education in Business or Accounting classes in High School/College
o Has experience working with Microsoft Navision, or other ERP systems
o Has previous work experience using Excel
o Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
o Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers, factories.
o Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
o Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees, locations and leadership.
o Supportive approach, strong work ethic, and personable
Hours: Full time, 8:30 - 5:30pm with break
This is a non-Exempt role with a starting hourly rate between $16-18
