Job Summary

Marengo is seeking an exceptional Immunologist to join our team. The Scientist will contribute significantly to a small, rapidly expanding company offering opportunity to advance while improving the lives of patients. The successful candidate will be developing and performing cell-based assays using human, NHP and rodent immune cells to determine the extent of target engagement and validation in the area of bispecific antibody modalities to assess target cell depletion, immune cell activation and cell cytoxicity. Candidate will work in a dynamic, small research group and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and time management skills are essential and expected to be self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive. Maintain high productivity as a team player in a collaborative environment and exhibit capacity to multitask. Marengo is dedicated to discovering innovative immunotherapeutic modalities to treat cancer patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

? Contribute to in vitro assay design, optimization and derive actionable biological conclusions and bring new experimental proposals. Possess a thorough knowledge of experimental design and underlying scientific principles related to immune pathways and readouts using primary human, mice and NHP cells.

? Perform ex-vivo and in-vitro cellular assays with strong emphasis on flow cytometry and immuno-assays including ELISA and MSD

? Independently analyze and interpret multi-parameters data sets and generate high-quality summary reports in a timely manner, and present findings in the inter and intra-departmental group meetings

? Effective teamwork and engage with broader project teams to advance portfolio projects

? Support routine activities that ensure general laboratory and instrument maintenance

? Proficiency with FlowJo, Prism, and Microsoft office applications

? Excellent record keeping of experimental data and results and maintain a current and accurate electronic notebook (ELN)

? Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills


Qualifications and Skills

? MS with 6+ years of relevant experience or Ph.D. with 2+ years of relevant experience

? Background in Immunology, immuno-oncology and molecular and cellular biology

? Experience in multi-parameter flow cytometry, ELISA, immunological assays, and cell culture and expansion techniques ? Proficient in cell culture aseptic technique

? Immunology: 3 years (Preferred)

? Industry experience (Preferred)
