At Take 5, our success is built on strong leadership at every level. We’re looking for an experienced Area Market Manager to lead multiple locations, develop high-performing Store Managers, and drive results across an entire market.

This is a high-impact role for a proven multi-unit leader who knows how to build teams, improve performance, and execute a clear vision across multiple locations.

What You’ll Do

As an Area Market Manager, you’ll set the tone for your entire market—leading through your people and driving results across every store.

  • Create and communicate a clear vision for each store in your market 
  • Hire, develop, and lead Store Managers who are committed to performance and growth 
  • Establish benchmarks and hold teams accountable to operational and financial goals 
  • Drive consistency in execution, customer experience, and company standards 
  • Lead change initiatives and ensure alignment with company objectives 

Leadership & Team Development

  • Motivate teams, make tough decisions, and resolve challenges effectively 
  • Coach and develop Store Managers through regular feedback and performance reviews 
  • Build strong relationships by understanding team needs, motivations, and opportunities 
  • Maintain proper staffing levels across all locations 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and teamwork 

Business & Operational Leadership

  • Analyze financial reports, KPIs, and performance trends across all locations 
  • Manage and oversee P&L performance for each store 
  • Identify gaps and implement strategies to improve sales, profitability, and efficiency 
  • Monitor store environments and operations to ensure consistent execution 
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet business objectives 

What You Bring

  • Multi-unit management experience required (automotive or retail/service preferred) 
  • Proven ability to lead leaders and manage multiple locations 
  • Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills 
  • Clear and effective communication across all levels of the business 
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics 
  • High level of professionalism, ownership, and accountability 
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using business systems and reporting tools 
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the market
