 FLSA: Non-Exempt

 SALARY RANGE: $9.00- $15.00

  

ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS:     In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.  

 

JOB SUMMARY: 

Provides friendly customer service to all employees who pick up and drop off their uniforms. Collects, distributes, unpacks, checks in, hangs up, and prepares for laundering all uniforms depending on policies. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assists employees with uniform pick up, drop off, and exchanges according to established procedures. Collects and inspects      uniforms from employees who are terminating or transferring. 
  • Prepares soiled uniforms for laundry pick-up at the end of each shift. 
  • Inspects and puts away all clean uniforms. 
  • Issues and collects aprons and accessories. 
  • Records sales of items on transaction slips and informs employee’s department as required, totaling at the end of the shift. 
  • Completes new hire and termination paperwork pertaining to uniforms.  
  • Unpacks, check in, and hangs stock. 
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies. 
  • The position involves repetitive motions over the duration of an entire shift, including sitting and standing and repeated bending, stretching, twisting and lifting.
  • Daily computer accuracy of work is necessary for inventory control and accountability.  
  • Housekeeping and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Experience sewing and experience with equipment such as a sewing machine, over lock machine, blind stitch machine, heat seal, steam iron, scissors, rippers and bolt cutters is preferred.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Any additional duties requested by the General Manager, Business Committee or representative of management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • Must have the ability to stand and/or sit up to eight hours per day with or without reasonable accommodations 
  • Must have the ability to carry and/or lift supplies weighing up to 75 lbs, push and/or pull rolling racks weighing up to 200 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations 
  • Must have the ability to bend and/or reach from the floor level up to 6 feet high with or without reasonable accommodations 
  • Willingness to keep the work area clean and organized 
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.  
  • Ability to make decisions regarding quality requirements 
  • Record daily transactions 
  • Knowledgeable of Windows, Microsoft Office applications, etc.  
  • Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos 
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form 
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English 
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance everyday, including wearing the proper uniform as required by the departmental      P&P. 
  • Must be able to lift, carry and hang uniforms  constantly from one rack to another.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and record-keeping skills.
  • Uniform room and/or dry cleaning experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Gaming License.   

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Ability to be seated for extended periods of time performing repetitive movements. May require standing or walking for prolonged periods of time. Some bending, stretching and lifting. Must be able to lift at least fifty pounds. Must be able to work in a smoking environment. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normal casino environment.
