The Opportunity

BDS is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist responsible for building scalable mechanisms to support business and program operation processes for our growing team. The Sales Operations Specialist is a strategic individual responsible for managing support functions essential to sales productivity. These include, but are not limited to, proposal creation, deal structure and quoting, sales process optimization, sales on-boarding and pipeline hygiene. As our Sales Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the performance, strategy, and alignment of the Revenue Operations team in support of the Sales Organization. This individual should have deep experience in sales processes and enablement tools, calling upon her/his experiences using a CRM system, sales quota and territory assignment, and analytics to assist in supporting a world class Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to problem solve, design, and implement new reporting solutions, delivering success against high standards. You will collaborate effectively with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to solve problems, implement new reporting and planning solutions. This successful individual is a person that has a proven work ethic that drives the desired results and has experience in sales operations. With this hands-on position - you must be willing to “roll up the sleeves”


Your Impact at BDS

  • Function as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership, leveraging data analytics to land business insights, develop GTM strategies, and scale the business.
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations on all administrative sales functions to ensure cross functional process alignment 
  • Manage contract requirements and auditing to effectively support the contracts department
  • Identifying opportunities for advanced modeling/analytics to continue to increase efficiency and generate additional revenue.
  • Manage sales forecasting by supporting pipeline hygiene, consistent sales processes, cross-functional insights, and driving adoption of forecasting tools and dashboard analysis.
  • As new products, pricing changes, and business practices are introduced, ensure sales readiness operationally.
  • Manage third-party lease return integration and aligning directly with the manager of the third-party lease return department.
  • Oversee the day-to-day key vendor relationships such as HP, Ricoh, Canon, Kyocera, Xerox, and FP-USA
  • Identify, recommend, and implement processes, technologies, and strategies to streamline efficiencies
  • Provide input to senior leadership in the development of sales incentive compensation programs
  • Assist in deal structuring of customer contracts for new business, upsell/cross-sell, and renewal transactions.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting metrics in support of meeting key sales initiatives and targets.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop campaigns, training programs, and processes that accelerate the sales cycle and arm the sales force to win in the market.
  • Project-manage multiple workflows and communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbal, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
  • Analyze sales processes and mechanisms for sub-optimal performance, with a focus on defect reduction and productivity.      Communicate findings clearly and effectively and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify trends, provide insight into the performance of the business, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Design and implement operation strategies for greater warehouse optimization.
  • Identify, recommend, and execute continuous improvement initiatives in the Sales Distribution Operation including process, equipment, method, and materials changes in support of operational goals.
  • Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures regarding, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution.
  • Conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
Requirements

What You will Need to be Successful

  • 5+ years of Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations or      similar 
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Experience working within a high-growth Business Hardware, Technology or Service Based Business Preferred
  • Change Management and Automation experience
  • Experience in creating and managing advanced models and scenario analysis in Microsoft Excel including the Excel advanced      functions (e.g., pivots, lookups, and macros).
  • Superior communication skills and attentiveness to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong background in all facets of traditional Sales Ops including planning, CRM/automation, productivity, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Purposeful achiever who balances a "take charge" attitude with teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Salary Description
$60,000-$75,000 Annually
