Ascent Classical Academies is seeking an Inventory and Finance Assistant for its growing campus at Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Colorado in Windsor. The qualified candidate has extensive organizational experience and possesses the skills needed to fulfill an array of responsibilities. This position reports to the Director of Finance but serves as an assistant to the Inventory Finance Specialist at the school site and is also responsible for superior customer service to the Headmaster and school staff.

The Inventory and Finance Assistant (IFA) is responsible for executing and continually improving the following functions and duties:
* Perform a variety of technical duties in the acquisition, processing, distribution, and maintenance of textbooks, classroom library books, instructional and support supplies, equipment (all hereto after referred to as “Materials”) at an assigned school site including, but not limited to:
* receiving delivered Materials in collaboration with the Business Manager and Inventory Finance Specialist and in accordance with financial procedures
* reviewing and verifying incoming shipments for accuracy and quality of delivery
* logging receipt in the accounting system for non-consumable materials
* distributing ordered Materials in a timely manner
* checking resource Materials out to students, staff and/or parents using the assigned computerized inventory system where appropriate and ensuring checked out Materials are returned
* repairing or purging damaged/obsolete Materials as needed
The IFA may also perform a variety of technical financial duties in accordance with financial procedures in a collaborative support role to the Business Manager at an assigned school site including, but not limited to:
* Enter purchase requests into accounting system
* Place orders for approved purchase requests with appropriate vendors
* Enter and process payments for bills in accounting system
* Enter receivable information in accounting system and support accounts receivable collection process
* Process items to return
* Respond to inquiries and provide information and assistance concerning related practices, techniques, policies and procedures surrounding ordering and receiving.

Compensation Range and Particulars: $17.50 per hour
Schedule and Classification: Hourly, Temporary, Non-Exempt

- Associate's degree or some college preferred
- Experience or interest in organizational clarity and productivity tools like Getting Things Done and Entrepreneurship Operating System (EOS)
