How Can You Make an Impact?

As a Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development and indirectly to the Director of Property Management and serve as a trusted marketing communications advisor to the Property Management team. You will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and measuring marketing communications strategies (traditional and digital) to support growth objectives in multiple states. Some specific duties include:

  • Ensure all vacant properties have good marketing descriptions and pictures, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws. 
  • Develop and implement campaign strategies across multiple markets and channels (digital, social media, print, video, email, events, etc.) to build awareness, effectively market properties, generate new leads, and increase occupancy rates.  
  • Ensure the “Resident Journey” is attractive, clear, automated, and continuously improved. 
  • Use data to identify trends/patterns that enable the company to continuously improve marketing strategies. 
  • Drive innovation, identifying new communication channels and tools.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or experience in Communications, Marketing, English, Public Relations, Journalism or related field. 
  • ~1-2 years of related experience, which could include agency experience, writing copy (e.g., news producer), in-house marketing (print and/or social media), etc.  
  • Superior communication, writing, and editing skills, with demonstrated expertise creating and shaping integrated and influential messaging for multiple audiences. This will require a      fluent command of the English language (verbal and written). Bilingual in Spanish would be a huge bonus!  
  • Must be comfortable working with data – gathering, synthesizing, analyzing, and then utilizing for purposes of innovation and continuous improvement. 
  • Proven ability to successfully plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, including providing resolutions to a diverse range of challenges. 
  • Knowledge of the Real estate industry is preferred, but not required.
