The Education & DEI Programs Manager is responsible for developing and managing programs internal to the Education Department and broadly supportive of the museum as a whole.  Duties include but are not limited to direct support and oversight of programs that take place both on and off site, digitall and in-person.  These include:

  • Youth Arts Programs, including programs such as field trips, summer camp, art workshops
  • Teen, Senior & Intergenerational Programs, including programs such as Creative Aging activities
  • Programs designed for COmmunities of INterest, including LGBTQ+, Tribal communities, and other partners


  • Minimum a BA + 3 years relevant work in museum education or related field, or equivalent and documented combinaion of skills and experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to advocating for diversity and promoting inclusive excellence
  • Working knowledge of innovative arts and cultural programming and museum practice
  • Ability to work occasional flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings
  • Proficiency in office applications such as Word, Goodle Docs, Excel, PowerPoint or willingness to learn
  • Advanced web research skills
  • Familiarity with Creative Suite, Goodle, Canva or other design apps a plus
  • Ability to navigate between Mac and PC platforms
  • Valid driver's license
  • Vehicle and insurance
  • Must be able to remain in a sationary position for extended periods of time
