Power Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a hardworking, career-oriented person of good character to fill a Pipe Welder position within our organization.
The Welder position is responsible for, but is not limited to:
· Welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG weld
· Reading and interpret blue prints
· Being able to weld without a set plan or procedure
· Setting up welding machines based on the job
· Setting up welding cells for serial production runs
· Operating specific machinery
· Assembling items as instructed
This position requires:

· One year of experience and training; an Associate’s degree (A.A.); or equivalent from a two year college or technical school
· Knowledge of raw material, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
· Ability to identify and measure materials
· Work in the metric system
· Ability to perform simple shop math
· Excellent customer service
· Effective communication skills
