We are seeking a CNC Machinist - Drill Press - Lathe to become an integral part of our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Follow processes as defined in procedures manual.
  • Machine material to within tolerances specified.
  • Inspect parts and materials prior to machining.
  • Perform physical inventory as directed.
  • Inform supervisor of project/work status and any issues encountered.
  • Keep work area neat, clean, and well organized to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Able to multitask in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Complete required paperwork and checklists. 
  • Observe all safety rules including wearing PPE as required.
  • Clean and perform preventative maintenance on machine and general shop equipment.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and decision making.

Requirements
  • Able to identify different materials, finishes and grades.
  • Able to set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation of tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
  • Able to use sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine product dimensions and      tolerances. 
  • Perform methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances.
  • Able to read prints and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Proficient at using inspection equipment such as tape measures, calipers and micrometers.
  • Able to design fixtures, tooling, to meet special production needs.
  • Able to identify defects and nonconformance.
  • Able to follow directions and work well without direct supervision. 
  • Able to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely. 
Salary Description
Negotiable depending on experience
