Service Planner
Description

Assists service and parts department with scheduling activities to include customer demonstrations, installations, training, and repair of scales at customer facilities. Coordinates, monitors, and improves fields service activities for the company. Provides support and guidance to service personnel who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  •   Maintain and improve execution of production assignments.
  • Uses ERP system and other data resources to analyze, schedule, initiate and coordinate orders. 
  • Monitor, track, review and analyze open work orders and work order aging to meet customer demands.
  • Oversees the tasks of sending invoices to clients and monitoring outstanding balances to ensure each account is paid on time and in full.
  • Process credit and debit adjustments in a timely and accurate fashion and return parts back to inventory.
  • Provides technical expertise and service quotes to customers.
  • Assists with expense reporting.
  • Organizes training classes for customers at their facility or ours.
  • Coordinates customer demonstrations in our facility. 
  • Coordinate daily workflow such as, actuator rebuild, and component assembles.
  • Enter data of job into system and work to ensure customers have all needed paperwork for visit. 
  • Answer and return calls from customers.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and must be insurable.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in business or equivalent combination of experience and training 
  • Computer and Microsoft products proficiency.
  • ERP system skills.
  • Strong financial knowledge and skills—ability to understand financials such as accounts receivable/payable, purchase orders, work orders, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment
