Employee Benefits Account Executive
We are looking for a highly motivated, growth driven Employee Benefits Account Executive. This position will use their professionalism, administrative, client-oriented skills, and attention to details to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Essential Functions
- Participate in and create materials for client strategy sessions, planning meetings and client issue meetings with account team
- Evaluate RFP responses and create qualitative and quantitative assessments of each
- Communicate and assist in implementing compliance and/or regulatory changes with clients (including COBRA, ERISA, HSA, HRA, Flex, HIPAA, etc.)
- Work with client on SPDs, Wrap documents, and Certifications from carriers
- Have a full understanding of group medical and ancillary programs as well as coverage gaps and challenges
- Present renewal and renewal options with client
- Manage and respond to claims issues, benefit and coverage questions, open enrollments, compliance questions, and other benefit related questions
- Maintain employer database – input new groups, carrier or group information
- Perform all actions relating to customers and companies in a manner that will avoid issues involving potential errors and omissions
- Facilitate and educate to ensure an excellent client experience
- Develop marketing strategies based on employee plan recommendations and work with Account Management team to implement those strategies, including explanation of unique issues faced by a client
- Provide high quality service to clients, including prompt response to questions, analysis of plan performance, regular review sessions where plan performance is reviewed and discussed, and implementation of new strategies/ideas as appropriate
- Actively demonstrates professionalism, a growth mindset, and a client-first focus
- Work with Producer to build client relationship and strategize on new business opportunities
- Work with team to attain above average renewal retention
- Capable of meeting with client independently
- Works independently in building assigned book of business, identifying account-rounding and cross-selling opportunities

- Self-Motivated/Self Directed
- Able to stay on top of workload meeting client and team expectations
Desired Qualifications
Insurance industry experience – 3+ years
Life/Health/Accident Insurance License
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Agency Management System knowledge a plus

Location: Twin Cities, MN
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm CT core hours
This role is an exempt full-time role. Reports to Employee Benefits Department Manager.
