As a Linens Associate/Packer with the Linens Department, you must ensure the highest level of overall Linen services in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Linens Associate/Packer must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
- Performs all assigned duties expediently and professionally.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Pack and sort linens in appropriate bags for guest distribution.
- Professionally interacts with owners, guests, and rental office staff relative to performance of duties.
- Responsible for operation of washers & dryers, and dispersing chemicals.
- Responsible for folding, wrapping & storage of laundered items.
- Pack out linens for upcoming check-ins, office stock and after-hours cabinets.
- Assist drivers with unloading trucks & vans.
- Assist with deliveries and pick-ups as (if) needed.
- Ability to lift between 50-100 lbs.
- Launder deep clean items, making sure all items are counted, bagged, and labeled properly.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions including extreme heat and extreme cold.
- May be required to assist with other Sun offices/departments as needed.
Requirements:
Physical/Mental Demands: Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, standing, sitting, driving, reaching bending climbing steps, and lifting 50-100 pounds; repetitive motion, folding, wrapping, stocking linens; loading and unloading trucks; effective written and verbal communication in the English language. The Linen Packer will sort and pack linens in appropriate bags for guest distribution. Must be organized and detail oriented. Schedules may vary and weekends/holidays are required.
Machines/Equipment: The operation of laundry machines and driving box truck. Possess a valid, active driver’s license (minimum of 3 years), and clean driving record (MVR).
Work Environment: Laundry facility, use of chemicals, and some exposure to outside weather conditions, fast paced, physically strenuous; climbing flights of steps inside and out; maneuvering a vehicle in congested traffic.

Hours: Hours and days will vary as job requires weekend and holiday work. Overtime may be required. Regular punctual attendance is required.
Salary Range: Pay based on experience and proven ability, determined by Linens Manager.
