- Work with the Mirum Research and Development team to:
- Explore new reaction conditions to produce NFW’s prepolymer curative.
- Developing changes to known reaction conditions to fully optimize the production of the prepolymer curative.
- Work with a team to characterize and interpret the results of the reactions
- To perform chemical characterization of reaction products with techniques such as, size exclusion/gel permeation chromatography (SEC/GPC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (GC), and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).
- Run and troubleshoot circular knitting machines
- Set-up trials using NFW’s Welded Cotton as a input yarn
- Conduct lab testing on the knitted fabrics
- Design experiments to optimize fabric performance

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Required, pursuing a degree in Chemistry, or a related field.
- Has taken or is currently enrolled in Organic Chemistry.
- Has laboratory experience, which includes experience gained from course work.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Works well with others

- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets. Ability to maintain up to date Excel spreadsheets on lab analyses.
