IGI is seeking a skilled and motivated Windows Systems Administrator to join our IT team. Our organization supports multiple highly critical applications that require a high level of availability and stability. As a Windows Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a high-quality, consistent customer support experience.
Working Shift is a (4) 10 hour shifts that would be from Sunday-Thursday, 1PM to 9PM Mountain Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Remote administration of Windows server operating systems (2003 – Present)
- Remote administration of messaging environments such as Microsoft Exchange (2013 – 2019)
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of hardware components and coordination with vendors for replacement installations
- Preparation and maintenance of process documentation
- At least 2 years professional experience with Windows Server family of operating systems
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting, with experience with HP class servers a plus
- Foundational knowledge of IPv4 network infrastructure and troubleshooting methods
- Familiarity with Microsoft and VMWare virtualization technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate in a remote team environment
- High attention to detail
- Openness to providing and receiving constructive feedback
Desired qualifications:
- Experience administering a hybrid Microsoft Exchange Server (on-prem and cloud)
- Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Experience with VMWare virtualization products (ESX Hosts and Guests)
- Linux operating system administration
- Foundational knowledge of IPv6 networking
- Experience automating tasks using PowerShell or other scripting technologies
- Microsoft certifications in relevant technologies
- Relevant IT certifications
Must be able to work in a remote team environment, be proficient in written communications; detail oriented; provide and accept constructive feedback.
US Citizenship needed to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust security clearance.
Salary Range: $45,000-$55,000 Initially based on experience.
