National Development has created an internship opportunity for a candidate interested in
learning the field of residential property management. The opportunity will introduce the candidate to all aspects of Property Management at 3 of National Developments Residential properties E3, Peninsula apartments and Station Landing.
Internship Description
Property Management Intern
- Correspond with prospective residents- establishing a good rapport, answering the phones, setting up appointments, touring the community, and taking them through the leasing and move in process all while showcasing exemplary customer service skills.
- Administrative tasks such as lease generation, and resident file preparation and maintenance
- Assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies for the properties social media sites.
- Maintaining social media presence, working with the internal marketing team to create and post content
- Participate in the planning and execution of resident events
- Assist with monitoring resident satisfaction in person, through follow-up calls and emails.
- Conduct daily property walks to make sure the property model, vacants, amenities and tour path are ready to show and in reputable condition.
- Accompany maintenance on property inspections with various vendors such as janitorial and landscape contractors
- Contract preparation
- Move in and move out procedures including unit inspections
- Cultivating and maintaining strong, loyal relationships with all constituents—owners, residents, employees and vendors
