Job Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for administering the activities necessary to ensure the maintenance of established Dura Supreme's quality standards and supervision of staff, as well as taking responsibility for Dura Supreme's data collection and document control system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Installs and maintains quality standards for all manufacturing operation phases, consistent with guidelines established by Management.
  2. Investigates recurring quality problems and manufacturing processes through training and written procedures.
  3. Assists Material Manager in the actions taken in resolving supplier and defective material problems.
  4. Works together with Materials Manager and Research and Development personnel to develop and maintain quality specs and prints for all incoming materials.
  5. Develops procedures for controlling incoming inspection process on all raw materials.
  6. Maintains a complete set of gauges and measuring devices for incoming inspection.
  7. Facilitates meetings to gather and present ideas, concerns, solutions for efficiency and productivity, and acts as a liaison between Work Teams, and Production Management.
  8. Develops, implements, and maintains a document and information system which outlines production related procedures and instructions.
  9. Maintains and improves the QC data collection and reporting system for internal and external data for presentation to Management on a quarterly basis.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Requires completion of a four year technical degree or related experience
