We are seeking a Diesel heavy duty Technician / Mechanic to join our service team here at Downtown Ford. We are a busy dealership with a steady flow of work. Diesel Mechanic experience required. We are offering a sign-on bonus, pay will depend on experience.

Diesel Technician Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning and transmission.
• Perform quality inspections of vehicle to identify necessary and recommended repairs.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs to proper specifications.
• Maintain a clean working environment.

Automotive Diesel Technician Qualifications:

• Diesel Technician/Mechanic experience required
• Ford experience preferred
• High degree of mechanical aptitude with a focus on efficiency
• Effective oral & written communication
• Comprehension of safety & policy practices
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Professional and dependable 
• Safety and customer service oriented 
• Basic computer and internet skills 

Salary / Pay: $38,000 - $46,000/Annually
