Sr. Security Implementation Engineer

The Role

This role will focus on Check Point Software Technologies architecture and implementation with the opportunity to expand into other industry leading technologies. This candidate must have 5+ years’ experience and expertise specifically with diverse Check Point implementations and a minimum of 7+ years in security and or networking roles. This candidate must be looking for a challenge, is constantly updating skills and can work with a team with very diverse, experienced group of engineers. This position will provide an unlimited opportunity to expand skills, access other security technologies and become part of an incredibly talented security engineering team. 

Responsibilities 

Key responsibilities for this position will be: architecting and implementing advanced security solutions in diverse client environments. Common platforms are Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Azure, AWS, Fortinet, and many others. This position will be providing nearly 100% remote services to Sayers clients in the continental U.S.

· Design, Deploy, and Manage client firewall platforms

· Create processes to continuously improve the quality of services delivered

· Seek out solutions to client challenges through research and lab testing

· Migrate client firewall platforms between vendors

· Escalation point for advanced firewall support requests

Other key responsibilities include; keeping up with the latest technologies/vendor updates, maintaining lab environments, solid communication/customer service skills and maintaining vendor certification levels.

· Up to date CCSE certification or have the ability to obtain with little effort
