Line Cook (Seasonal / Temporary)

Job Summary:
Work where guests come to rest and reset. Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa is hiring Line Cooks to support kitchen operations in a peaceful, high-desert setting.
You will prepare high-quality meals using fresh ingredients while working alongside a skilled culinary team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen with strong opportunity to build experience in a destination resort known for wellness and hospitality.

Northern New Mexico, about 50 miles north of Santa Fe

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare food for service including grilling, sautéing, and sauce preparation
- Set up and stock kitchen stations with required supplies
- Execute menu items following recipes and standards
- Work with kitchen team to ensure timely and consistent food output
- Follow direction from Chef and kitchen leadership
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Label, store, and rotate inventory properly
- Monitor product freshness and quality
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling standards
- Assist with additional kitchen and cleaning duties as needed
Schedule & Season:
- Seasonal or temporary role based on business demand
- Full-time hours, varies with occupancy
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required

Requirements:
- At least 1 year of line cook experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary training preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of cooking methods and kitchen equipment
- Good knife skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a hot kitchen environment
- New Mexico Food Handler certification
- Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
