Position Summary

The Billing Specialist will take ownership of the billing activities related to the ISO Depot Business Unit including ensuring all ISO Depot revenue is identified and billed while establishing policies and controls for billing. 


Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • The Billing Specialist will be in charge of all of the Depot related activities to customer accounts.
  • Support ISO Depot business leadership by ensuring all revenue is captured.
  • Reconciliation and Billing of monthly storage at all Depot locations.
  • The Billing Specialist will maintain personal invoicing queues while adhering to company deadlines.
  • Process invoices via upload and/or key entry into various customer websites used by each customer for manual invoice submission.
  • Follow up on billed invoices to ensure status on customer websites continues to progress to paid status.
  • The Billing Specialist will manage rejected invoices for assigned customers.
  • Review billing invoices daily.
  • Support ISO business leadership in resolving unique or complex billing situations. 
  • Work with Pricing and Rating team for quoting and automation of billing.
  • The Billing Specialist will develop and maintain a professional relationship with team members.
  • Working with customers to answer billing questions and resolve any billing issues.
  • Support ISO Depot business leadership by ensuring all revenue is captured.
Requirements

  

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years billing experience.
  • Experience using TMW and TMT.
  • Experience using software MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Great Plains.
  • Analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Outstanding multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Highly motivated with strong work ethic.

Preferred qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in Transportation with Chemical companies
